Budget 2014: 30,000 in South West taken out of income tax

Christopher Brown, Bristol247: Nearly 30,000 people in the South West will be earning below a new threshold for income tax after George Osborne announced his Budget [on Wednesday]. The amount workers earn before tax will go up by £500 to £10,500 next year, following the rise to £10,000 which will come into force from next month. Read the article
